Item Details
An antique mustard pot by London silversmith Thomas Wallis II. This piece features an oval crystal jar with a paneled body cut with diamonds below the rim. The jar is topped with a sterling silver rim and hinged lid, engraved with a crown and deer head, and featuring an attached handle and ball finial. The lid is stamped with the maker’s mark ‘TW’ alongside hallmarks for London, sterling, and 1804. The mustard pot is presented with a round star cut glass tray featuring a repoussé beaded band around the rim. The underside is stamped, ‘Sterling’.
