1797 Richard Sawyer Irish Sterling Silver Footed Dish
Item Details
An antique sterling silver footed dish by Richard Sawyer of Dublin, Ireland. This piece features a fluted crescent-shaped bowl with raised sides and a ridged rim, as well as an engraved depiction on the front of a hand holding scroll. The bowl is raised on a short stem and oval-shaped base. The underside is stamped with the maker’s mark ‘RS’ along with hallmarks for the city of Dublin, sterling, and 1797. The approximate weight is 7.01 ozt.
