An oil painting on canvas titled The Classroom by Cincinnati-based artist Kristiana Yager (20th/21st Century), created in 2015. This work features a view of a studio art class with a nude model in the center, surrounded by students at their easels. Applied solely with palette knife, the composition exhibits vibrant colors and areas of rough impasto. The work is signed and titled in graphite to the canvas verso. It remains unframed.

Raised in Cincinnati, Kristiana Yager received her BFA from Wright State University. She works in a variety of media including analog photography, printmaking, and oil painting, focusing primarily on figural and landscape subjects. Her work has been exhibited in various local venues including Robert & Elaine Galleries and Redtree Art Gallery.
