Bert Stern Serigraphs "The Marilyn Monroe Trip"

A collection of serigraphs on paper by very well-listed American photographer Bert Stern (1929–2013). Featured are nine images from Stern’s publication The Marilyn Monroe Trip which took place on June 21, 1962. The prints were published later in the March 1968 edition of Avant Garde magazine. The works depict Pop Art halftone style images of Monroe lying semi-nude and pose with a cocktail, silk scarf, and pearl necklace. The images are printed in bright posterized tones of red, yellow, blue, and black; when put under a black light areas print glow. This piece is not presented framed and comes in a booklet format.

- wear to edges, some dog eared pages, strong fold line through center, one page appears to be cut.
