A signed pastel drawing of a still life of strawberries by listed American artist, George Thompson Hobbs (1846-1929). This piece depicts a bushel of strawberries lying on its side and spilling out to either side while an intense yellow glow seeps in from the upper right corner of the image. The artist’s signature can be seen to the lower right corner. The drawing is presented matted behind glass in a wooden frame with a hanger to the verso.
