Wooden Frame

A 1993 hand-colored photograph titled Holding Hands by E.C. Thompson. This photo has been reprinted from the original circa 1900 negative, and depicts a young boy standing next to a young girl seated on a chair, holding her hand. It is signed and dated in black pigment to the lower right. It is presented behind a blue suede mat with a white liner, under glass, in a black wood frame with cast embellishments and a hanging wire to the verso. A brass plaque indicating the title, the medium and the date of the original is present in a cut out to the base of the mat.

Condition

- several small chips to frame.
