An assortment of antique letterpress movable type blocks, featuring ornately styled drop cap initials. This variety of wooden blocks with mounted copper and metal relief printing surfaces features stylized decorative capital letters that appear at the headings of paragraphs. The variety of typesets included show the styles of the period, including Victorian, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, and more. Several of the blocks feature hand written labels and dates.
