An antique American Etruscan Majolica cake stand from Griffin, Hill and Smith of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, circa 1878-89. This earthenware piece displays a shaped form with raised green leaves and brown branches on a pink ground. The pedestal base is in the form of a tree trunk with green lives twining around. No visible marks were noted as these items were typically marked inside the base.
