An extensive 178 piece collection of Johnson’s Brothers ‘Old Britain Castles’ china. The pieces have a pink transfer image of various castles throughout Great Britain with a scrolled and foliate rim and scalloped edge. This large collection is a mix of early and new pieces. Old pieces bare red stamp to underside while the new are in blue. The mix between old and new are fairly equal. Featured old pieces include soup terrine, oval platters and many more. Included are the following pieces: twenty-one dinner plates, twenty salad plates, fourteen soup bowls, six square cut dessert bowls, twelve round scalloped individual bowls, three square dessert plates, twenty-four bread and butter plates, twelve individual sauce bowls, twenty-five saucers, eleven tea cups, nine coffee cups, four espresso cups, two serving platters, one large scalloped square cut side dish platter, two medium, scalloped square cut side dish platters, two smaller rectangle cut side dish platters, one soup terrine, one covered dish, one gravy boat, two condiment jars, two larger vases and three smaller vases.
