A limited edition engraving with hand-pulled lithographic color and embossing on BFK Rives paper by famed Spanish Surrealist Salvador Dalì’s (1904 – 1989), titled Papillons de l’anti-matiére from the artist’s series La Conquête du Cosmos. The mixed mdeia work depicts two curious creatures with butterflies on their faces making their way across a desolate orange and yellow landscape. The work is signed by hand in graphite to the lower right and numbered CII/CLXXXXV to the lower left. It is presented under glass with white matting in a gold-tone composite wood frame. A stamp from William Hartman Antique Prints/Fine Framing is marked to the verso.

Condition

- minor wear in frame includes stains, scratches, dents, and finish loss scattered throughout.
