E.T. Hurley 1916 Signed Etching of Trees in a Forest

A 1916 original signed aquatint etching by well-listed American printmaker and Rookwood pottery artist Edward Timothy Hurley (Cincinnati; 1869-1950). The print depicts a forest of trees in the winter. The print is signed and dated in-plate by Hurley to the lower right corner and pencil-signed by the artist to the lower right margin.The print is matted in off white and is presented behind glass in a wooden frame with mahogany finish and a hanging wire. A sticker from Cincinnati’s Closson’s Gallery is attached to the verso.
