A late 20th-century Chinese screen printed hanging scroll on paper, embellished with watercolor and gouache accents. The piece depicts a landscape of Chinese white pines, bamboo plants and lush multicolored flowers filled with a variety of roosting and flying birds including cranes, pheasants and chickens. It is inscribed to the center left in black ink and is marked with a red seal. This work is mounted as a hanging scroll, weighted with a dowel and wooden knobs to the lower section and hangs with a string affixed to the upper section. The scroll is marked with a label in Chinese to the top verso.

Condition

- wear to edges and corners; stains, toning, accretion and discoloration to surface; wrinkling and wear to scroll from rolled storage.
