A Mid Century Modern George Nelson for Howard Miller floor clock. The clock features a classic grandfather style and adds modern design with chrome metal, brass and lucite. The clock features a chrome metal frame that encases smoke colored lucite panels displaying the brass gears and inner workings of the clock. Other features of the clock include raised, gold-tone metal hour markers on the outer lucite panel with gold-tone and red arrow style hands. The clock has a silver-tone pendulum and cylinder style weights on chains, a Howard Miller weight driven movement with chimes and stands on a square chrome metal base. It is marked Howard Miller in a small plaque to the front of the clock and on the verso.
