A hand-knotted Persian Kerman area rug . This wool rug is hand-knotted in a palette of muted lime, amber-brown, golden ocher, cream, pale blue and espresso. It has an elongated scalloped diamond medallion with palmette medallions. It has broken borders of carnation meanders and floral scrollwork. Finished with overcast selvedges and fringe to either end.
