Hand-Knotted Persian Shiraz Wool Area Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Shiraz area rug. This wool rug is hand-knotted in a palette of red, bright orange, burgundy, black, white, and forest green. It has two hexagonal shaped medallions with stepped edges and a field densely patterned with ‘S’ hooks, eight pointed stars, camels, birds, and scorpion symbols. It is framed with triangle sawtooth and rosette meander borders. Finished with overcast selvedges and fringe to either end. Unmarked.
