Hand-Knotted Kazak Wool Area Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Kazak wool area rug. This rug begins with a five gul pole medallion to the center field along with partial medallions to the inner verge. It is rendered in ivory, navy, onyx, and taupe with a rich crimson background. Framing the rug are reciprocal geometric patterns along with serrated leaf and diamond floral motifs. Selvedges are overcast in stripes, the rug finishing with long cotton fringe at either end. It is not labeled.
