Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Hamadan area rug. This wool rug is hand-knotted in a palette of red,coral-pink, white, sage green, indigo,slate blue, cream, mustard, and black. The rug has an organic diamond shaped central medallion with palmette medallions and sprays of floral branches to the rest of the field. It is framed with compound borders of flower meanders. Finished with overcast selvedges and fringe to either end.Unmarked.
