Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Hamadan area rug. This wool carpet is hand-knotted in a palette of red, cream,slate blue, coral, sky blue , gray, black, indigo , and green. It has a scalloped diamond shaped medallion on a field patterned with a geometric herati motif. It is framed with floral meander and sawtooth guard borders and a unresolved main border of boteh and diamond forms. Finished with overcast selvedges and fringe to either end. Unlabeled.
