Item Details
A Baluch Mashwani tribal area rug. This wool and camel-hair rug is hand-knotted in a palette of scarlet, indigo, black, mocha and cornsilk. It features an allover diamond lattice in scarlet and black over an indigo field. Framing the field are compound borders, including a main border grounded in cornsilk, featuring boteh and star octograms, and minor Hamadan-style borders.
