A mid-century resin reproduction figure titled Ancella after listed Italian sculptor Antelma Santini (born 1896). The piece depicts a Neoclassical style female nude, partially draped in loose fabric as she leans over a handled wash basin. The figure is signed in mold to the bottom. The work is mounted atop a square marble base marked with a mid-century ‘Sculptor A. Santini, Classic Figure, Made in Italy’ sticker to the underside.

- minor markings and accretion to figure and base; scuffs to underside; felt pads adhered to underside of base.
