A faint name is written below the left corner of the banner. Text to the lower left corner printed in plate reads ‘Published By M. Mallett & Co. Portland Maine’ , large block printed letters at the center read ‘MARTHA WASHINGTON’, and printed text to the lower right corner reads ‘Copyright M.
