A 19th century chromolithograph print titled Douarnenez Moroccan Maiden after Walter Satterlee (January 18, 1844 – May 28, 1908). This piece depicts a woman in 19th century dress wearing a cloak and holding an umbrella. She stares out at the viewer with a bold expression on her face. An in print signature is present to the lower right corner. It is presented under white mat under acrylic in a wooden frame.
Condition
- toning on ground; residue along top portion of ground; toning and foxing throughout mat board; cracks throughout gesso decoration on frame; scratches and scuffs throughout frame edges.
