A pair of watercolor paintings on paper signed and dated ‘N.F. Miller, ’99’ and attributed as bearing the titles Cottage and Birches. The paintings are each loosely rendered in daubs of blue, green and brown, depicting a house near the center of a pastoral landscape and a grove of birch trees near the edge of a hazy lake. The two are matted together under glass in a gold tone wooden frame with a hanging wire to its verso.

Condition

- edge wear and scratched finish to frame; openings of mat shows discoloration.
