Item Details
A handwoven Aubusson-style wool area rug. The rug features a floral palette in ecru, rose, mauve, mocha, violet and taupe. It has a large central floral medallion surrounded by floral bouquets and garlands. The field is framed by a broken floral border, and an outer guard border with floral motifs in the field colors. It has bound selvedges, finishing with a kilim skirt and ivory warp fringe at either end which have been folded over and stitched to the underside. It is not labeled.
