Early 20th-Century Wardrobe
Item Details
An antique, circa early 20th-century, wood wardrobe. The wardrobe features an overhung top, a tall, right-side mirrored cabinet fitted with an interior hanging rod and an exterior full-length mirror, and to the left side, a smaller cabinet with a mirrored door above five dovetailed drawers fitted with pairs of brass handles. A scrolled bracket runs along the bottom, and it rests on straight turned legs. The top drawer is decorated with a faux-inlay floral decal. The wardrobe retains its original paper label, marked ‘From Catawba Furniture Co. – Manufacturers of Oak Furniture – Marion, North Carolina’.
