An original 1982 fabric collage on stretched canvas titled Merle’s Painting by an artist named Mullens. The abstract collage features richly patterned hand-printed fabrics cut into geometric shapes and layered onto a painted gray canvas in a loose grid-like formation, and coated with a layer of varnish. The work is signed, titled and dated to the verso. It is housed in a nautral salt style wood frame and is ready to hang with a wire.
