Hand-Knotted Persian Qashqai Wool Mat
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Qashqai wool mat. This small rug is rendered in a palette of madder red, clementine, ivory, azure, walnut, saffron, and hot pink. The madder red colored field features four large bird motifs, along with an array of geometrically shaped flowers. Framing the field is a main floral meander border, along with comb patterned guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a short wool warp fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
