An original watercolor painting on paper by American artist Phillip Schreibman (1925-2007). This abstract painting features layers of earth-toned washes dissected by a band of fiery white tendrils created through masking. The work is signed in graphite to the lower center. It is housed under glass, in a carved wood frame with a gold-tone wash finish and a beige linen liner and is ready to hang with a wire. A label from Todd Gallery is present to the verso.

- light satining to linen liner. Accretion and multiple chips to frame.
