Antique William IV Mahogany Linen Press

Item Details

An antique William VI mahogany linen press, circa 1830. This piece features a rectangular top that overhangs two cabinet doors with arched, recessed panels featuring flame mahogany veneers and knob handles. The cabinet opens to four full width, stacked linen drawers. The cabinet doors are flanked by turned column stiles. The lower base features two aligned drawers above two full width, stacked drawers. The drawers feature knob handles and escutcheons. This piece terminates on a plinth base. There are no visible maker’s marks.

- scuffs and discoloration throughout; chips and cracks to veneer; nicks and scratches throughout; dust present.
