A pair of woodblock prints on paper of bamboo scenes by listed artist Eiichi Kotozuka (琴塚 英一, Japanese, 1906 – 1979). The works depict naturalistic views of bamboo forests. Each piece is stamped in-plate to the lower corners with the artist’s ‘Koto’ seal and an Uchida publisher’s seal. Both items are housed in wood frames under glass and linen matting.

Condition

- glass could be cleaned more thoroughly; worn frame finishes; light wrinkling.

Dimensions

- measures one frame; image measures 10.75" W. × 16″ H; both items have the same approximate measurements.
