Gorham "Medallion" and Other Sterling Silver Flatware

A five-piece assortment of sterling silver flatware. The group features a shell sugar spoon by Gorham in the George Wilkinson designed Medallion pattern which was first introduce in 1864, a ladle by Reed & Barton in the Joseph Smith designed Les Cinq Fleurs pattern, and a small fork by Reed & Barton in the Ernest Meyers designed Francis I pattern. These are accompanied by two spoons by Lunt, which features one in the Frederick W. Koonz designed Adam pattern and one in the George C. Lunt designed Mount Vernon pattern. Each piece is stamped by the individual maker’s marks along with ‘Sterling’, and a couple pieces have personalized engravings to their handles. The total approximate weight is 3.435 ozt.
