A pair of etchings of landscapes, including Wm. Brown and Wm. Forrest’s Linlithgow Palace and W.M. Done’s Castle Howard, Seat of the Easrl of Carlisle after T.H. Shepherd, with two mixed media assemblages signed ‘L. Kersh.’ The prints each feature small areas of colored detailing and are matted under glass in gold tone frames. The assemblages, each made from watch parts and labeled to its verso as a ‘Horological Collage,’ are titled Royal Coach and Rolls Royce Phantom 1909. They are signed and titled by the artist and are presented under glass in gold tone frames, one with a wire for hanging to its verso.
Condition
- discoloration to paper and matting; discoloration and visible glue residue to L. Kersh artworks; some foxing to prints; yellowing to versos of frames; scratching and wear to frames.
