An oil painting on canvas of a wooded scene. This Impressionist style painting depicts a rustic lodge situated within a rolling hillside, surrounded by tall pine trees bordering a vast body of water. To the distance are large, snowy mountains. Found to the lower left corner is an illegible artist signature. The painting is presented in a frame featuring a linen insert with hanging wire to the verso.

- wear to edges of frame; dust and accretions present to surface of painting and frame; heavy staining throughout frame; foxing to fabric insert.
