A thirty-one piece set of sterling silver flatware by Weidlich Sterling Spoon Co. of Bridgeport, CT (active c.1915-1950). This is in the Virginia Sterling pattern, first introduced in 1929, which each features a flared handle with bead-and-reel patterned edges, a shaped tip, and a personalized engraving. The set includes four dinner forks, four salad forks, ten teaspoons, two tablespoons, a butter knife, and six butter spreaders, all marked ‘Sterling’ along with a maker’s mark. They are presented with four knives that have sterling hollow handles and come in a wooden flatware chest with felt-like interior lining.
