Japanese Lacquered Terracotta Vase with Eagle

Item Details

An early 20th century Japanese vase, comprised of terra cotta and with eagle and branch reserve in high relief lacquer. Branches contains elements of mother of pearl, and the rim and foot both with gilt surface. Unmarked.

Condition

A few minor scratches, barely visible to the naked eye, some light crazing near the rim.
