Cut Glass Decanter and Chrome Tantalus
Item Details
A chrome tantalus with three cut glass decanters, circa early to mid twentieth century. The chrome stand has three sections, a hinged top with handle that lifts up for release and locks down to keep the decanters in place. The decanters have etched markings for liquor type, ‘Scotch’, ‘Gin’ and ‘Rye’ and each have a cut diamond and panel design topped with faceted orb stoppers. A heart shaped lock and key are present, may not be original to the piece.
Condition
Mostly good consistent with age and use. The stand base has some marring and the some of the hardware may not be original. All of the stoppers have chips on the ends. The long edges and corners of the decanters have minor chips from use .
