An antique vernacular craftsman’s tool box, late 19th to early 20th century. The wooden, mahogany-stained case features a rectangular lid with a top-mounted, metal handle above lateral, hook latches and two hinged panels in the front. The lid opens to reveal a removable, two-compartment tray while the front panels fold up to provide access to four drawers with porcelain knobs.

Condition

- to fair; top handle is probably a replacement; one drawer with a stain to interior; a few tiny/minor chips to porcelain knobs; a few small, minor shrinkage cracks to case; retains interior lock mechanism but no key.
