An antique inlaid notions box with a winding spool, two snuff boxes, and a chalk compass. The notions box is finished in mixed wood veneers, including rosewood, and it features a rectangular, hinged lid opening to a paper-lined interior with an under-lid mirror. Also included is a carved, thread winding spool with a clamp, two carved snuff boxes, and a wooden chalk compass, all of which date to the 19th century.

- notions box with a few veneer repairs to lower, back corners; interior paper lining with some tears/losses; mirror with some minor silver losses along edges; missing interior tray and lock mechanism; support chain is probably later; spool winder with a tiny chip to finial and to one winding thread; top of winder with a later inscription reading “101-”; burled snuff box with a couple tiny chips; larger snuff box with some wear/losses to ebonized finish; chalk compass with some scratches, marks, and finish wear.
