A power loomed Italian Persian-style accent rug. It features an oval-shaped central pendant medallion in a palette of pale green, scarlet, white, pale yellow and green. The central medallion is surrounded by a pattern of smaller medallions in the central colors. It has a primary border of foliate motifs on a cream ground, framed by guard borders in the field colors. It has overcast edges with a natural cotton warp fringe to either end. The rug is marked to reverse, “Made in Italy’.
