A watercolor painting on paper of a figure signed by an artist with the name E. Scott. This painting depicts a figure wearing a blue robe with stippled patterning draped throughout. They clutch at a wooden pipe while staring in profile, featuring a feather in their hair. To the lower right corner is a painted artist signature. The painting is presented under acrylic glass in a stained wooden frame with hanging wire and a dated inscription (1948) to the verso.

Condition

- some wear to the edges of the frame; stain to the bottom of the frame face; glass could benefit from a cleaning; to the verso, rips and wear to the protective backing.
