An oil painting on canvas of American circus performer Emmett Leo Kelly’s clown character ‘Weary Willie’ by artist Donald L. ‘Rusty’ Rust (b. 1932). This snow flake-scattered piece depicts the figure leaning over the beginning of a tiny fire, his dog curled up nearby. The piece is signed ‘Rust’ toward its lower left and is presented in a gold tone frame with a wire for hanging, ‘1990, Rust’ noted to its verso.
