An oil painting on canvas of American circus performer Emmett Leo Kelly’s clown character ‘Weary Willie’ by artist Donald L. ‘Rusty’ Rust (b. 1932). This painting depict the figure trimming a Christmas tree, a tasseled hat on his head. The piece is signed ‘Rust’ toward its lower right and is presented unframed. The oil is the original design for a ‘seasons’ designs on a collector’s plate series.
