A collection of four crayon and marker drawings on paper of abstract compositions by Louis Papp (New York; 1930-2012). These drawings depict brightly-hued compositions on paper with one featuring a floral motif. These pieces are unsigned and are presented as loose work.

Louis Papp was a New York-based artist known for his abstract, mixed media paintings. His works are often comprised of aggressive gestural brushstrokes and textural impasto rendering large-scale expressionistic compositions. In the 1970s and 80s, he was a member of the Art Students League, a renowned and respected art school headquartered in Manhattan.
