An abstract mixed media artwork by contemporary American artist Priscilla Hoback (born 1939). This mixed media artwork is made from a variety of materials which appears to include lace, paper, paint, gold leaf, and foil assembled on a paper ground material. This work is signed to the lower right corner of the picture plane and labeled ‘Galisteo’. It is presented in a wooden frame, under glass, with a wire hanger to the verso.
Priscilla Hoback’s monotypes and murals can be seen at Gallery at Shoal Creek in Austin, Texas, Nedra Matteucci’s Fenn Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and at her Quartermill Farm studio in Galisteo, New Mexico.
