An oil painting on canvas of two copper pheasants. This vintage oil painting depicts a male pheasant pecking at the ground near some short grass, his tail curving up over his head. The painted environment is vignetted by a neutral tan background. A brown pheasant hen is seen tending a nest in the tall grass behind the male. The unsigned work is presented in a gold tone wood frame with a hanging wire mounted to the verso.

- some warping to canvas; alligatoring throughout with cracks to paint; some areas of paint lifting; gaps to joints of frame; scratches and marks to frame.
