An oil painting on canvas of two Reeves’s pheasants. This vintage oil painting depicts a male and female pheasant cuddled together in a ground nest. The painted environment is vignetted with a neutral tan background. A third pheasant is perched on a large stone in the background. The unsigned work is presented in a gold tone wood frame with a hanging wire mounted to the verso.

Condition

- some warping to canvas; dent to canvas at upper center; alligatoring throughout; some cracks to paint with areas of lifting; some scratches and marks to frame.
