A group of five antique wood and brass tools, including two braces, a level, a T-square bevel, and a gauge. The brass-plated, bit braces feature button chucks, one of which is stamped with eagles and marked ‘James Bee / Sheffield’ and ‘Henry Brown / Patentee / Sheffield’. The cherry wood level has three glass, bubble sights and it is marked ‘Henry Disston & Sons / Keystone Tool Works / Philad’ A / U.S.A.’ The lot also comes with a T-square bevel marked ‘HAL 25’ and a rosewood mortise gauge marked ‘J. Dubbin’.
