A selection of oil landscape paintings on canvas board, two of which are signed ‘Stanhope’ and dated 1957. The Coastline at Crescent Beach Oregon depicts a rocky ledge overlooking a deep blue body of water. Gallatin River depicts evergreen trees and a rushing river and the foot of a mountain range. Also included is an untitled work that depicts a seascape. Two of the works are signed, titled and dated ‘Nov 1957’ by hand to the verso. They are presented in wooden frames with a metal hanging wire to the versos.

Condition

- accretions; some discoloration; minor wear to frames; minor areas of surface abrasion and paint loss.
