Vintage Yanagi Keiki Co. Barometer with Box Plus Schatz Barometer and Clock

A vintage Yanagi Keiki Co. barometer with its original box plus a Schatz barometer with a clock. The Yanagi barometer features a round, brass tone case with a conforming, glass-protected dial. The dial is marked ‘Aneroid Barometer / Yanagi Keiki Co., Ltd. Tokyo / Compensated Temperature & Acceleration / 1421 / 31-6’ and the barometer is mounted to a later, walnut board. It is accompanied by its original, wooden box with metal clasps and jointed corners. The lid retains a plaque labeled ‘Tokyo Japan / Marin Barometer / Aneroid Type / Yanagi Gauge & Instrument Mfg. Co., Ltd.’ with blank ‘Date’ and ‘No.’ boxes. Also included in the lot is a barometer and clock by Schatz, both of which have round, silver-tone cases. The dial of the clock reads ‘Ships Bell’ while the barometer dial is marked ‘Holosteric Compensated Barometer / Made In Germany’. The cases are mounted to a later wooden board and the clock comes with a key.

- items are untested; scattered surface wear as would be expected with age and use; Yanagi box with slightly heavier wear and a warped lid; some tiny/minor chips to edges of mounting boards; boards have wire on the back for hanging.
