A pastel and graphite drawing on paper of theatrical figures by Danish artist Valdemar Setoft (1885-1969). Depicted is a man clad in a jester costume gazing around the corner at a woman dressed as a flapper. The artist’s signature is present to the lower left corner of the drawing. This piece is presented under glass in a thin wooden frame with a wire hanger to the verso.

Condition

- large wear to edges of frame; billow to paper; loss of paint to edges of frame; dust and accretions present to frame and glass; under drawing visible throughout drawing.
